The Capital Region Airport Authority Board has elected Chris Holman of Mason to serve as Chair and Paul Hufnagel of Lansing to serve as Vice Chair. The Capital Region Airport Authority is governed by a six-member board which oversees the operation of the Capital Region International Airport and Mason Jewett Field in Mason.
Chris Holman is best known as the publisher of The Greater Lansing Business Monthly, a Lansing area business magazine. Holman is the Small Business Advocate for the State of Michigan, appointed by Governor Jennifer Granholm. Holman also serves on the National Small Business Association Board as the Vice Chair of Communication. Holman began his professional career as a teacher and later became coach, athletic director, and assistant principal at Hartland Community Schools.
LANSING, Mich., July 7, 2008 – Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) today announced that it plans to discontinue scheduled Comair flights between Lansing, Mich. (LAN) and Cincinnati, effective August 31, 2008, citing its strategy to reduce select flights that cannot be profitable in light of the unprecedented rise in fuel prices experienced in the last year.
